About Us

James and I met on a wonderful little application called AIM in April of 2009, when I was fifteen and he was seventeen. We talked for a mere five days before making it official, falling for each other faster than imaginable. We have been in a long distance relationship since the day we started dating, living approximately three hours away from each other, seeing each other about once every two months, sometimes more and sometimes less. The numbers 12 21 represent us because they are our favorite numbers put together.

Like an insane asylum.

My night consisted of:

  • Scaring me into thinking I have appendicitis and have to get surgery, when, in reality, if I did, I would be dead right now.
  • A million ways to say "May I stick my penis in your vagina?" Car in your garage, boat in your dock, etc.
  • Crappy pick-up lines (If you were a booger, I'd pick you first).
  • Michael Jackson imitations, as well as singing other songs in a high-pitched Michael Jackson voice (21 Guns was the best one).
  • God bitchin' on all the crackas!

I did not, in fact, spend my night talking to a mental patient. I was, however, talking to the love of my life who also happens to be my best friend and my everything, which is why I can spend my night in these ways and call it one of the most fun nights I've had in a while.

It also happens to be on the night of February 18th. That might not mean anything to anyone else. However, it does mean something to me, because two years ago on this day, I lost my best friend forever.

So, James, if you're reading this, then please forgive me for not being able to bring myself to tell you that it was the day that Richard died. But also, thank you for making an otherwise dreadful day into a hilarious night. I love you.
